It is sometimes necessary to change a Mixed Number to an
Improper Fraction.
This is done in three easy steps.
The Mixed Number

Step 1:
Multiply the whole number by the denominator.

Step 2:
To that number, in this case 32, add the numerator.

Step 3:
The 35 becomes the new numerator of the improper fraction.
The denominator stays the same.
